Pilgrimage tour to Andreas - Gegentrum - Stolln

The tour starts in Grumbach at St. Margarethen Church, we walk approx. 500m downhill past the bakery, turn left from the main road, down a small path to the first signpost, cross the bridge slightly uphill and stay left and see the village mill. We cross the small Grumbach stream and continue downhill at the fork in the paths, continuing right past the Sorgenteiche ponds. We follow a small path along the Grumbach further into the valley. On the left-hand side we see the sign to the Heyn - Stolln. After 300 m we arrive in the Preßnitz valley and turn left to the Andreas Gegentrum visitor mine. This is a welcome rest stop at the weekend. We take the same route back in the direction of Schmalzgrube and see further signs along the way for the Andreas - Gegentrum - Stolln mining trail. We cross Grumbacher Straße and continue to Schmalzgrube. Now it goes uphill to the Floßzechenweg and downhill again. When we reach Schmalzgrube, we turn right twice and follow the Grumbach Church Pilgrims' Trail for approx. 2.5 km uphill to the starting point of our hike.
