The House
Our country hotel “Waidegger Wirt” is a family-run establishment for many generations and has been welcoming guests warmly from all over the world. The long tradition and the understanding of our guest´s needs are our trademark. No matter if summer or winter, a wide range of possibilities for activities lie ahead of you – skiing on top of nearby “Nassfeld”, enjoying a rustic farmer´s breakfast, going golfing, fishing, swimming or relaxing and doing nothing; the choice is yours!

The Rooms
Our uniquely and lovely decorated rooms are equipped with shower / bathroom, telephone, TV and partly balcony, and we can lodge up to 70 people. Families with kids are certainly very welcome and like being accommodated in our apartments.

The Bar
Call your busy vacation day a day in our bar, sip on a tasty cocktail, an excellent glass of wine or another scrumptious drink while listening to live music or dancing the night away.

Winter
The largest and probably best skiing area Carinthia´s, with its runway length of about 110 kilometers, is only five minutes away by car– for skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, tobogganing or whatever your winter heart desires Ski resort Nassfeld-Hermagor provides for all winter sports lovers the right possibility. Adrenaline junkies get their kick at "NTC Blue Day" Fun Park with the ultimate fun equipment. Also, snowboarders’ fun and adventure are guaranteed at free-ride areas and fun parks. Night can be turned into day at "Carnia", the longest floodlit ski slope in Europe (2.2 kilometers); it enchants skiers and snowboarders alike. After an eventful day in the snow, our spa area is the right place to be. 
We also offer special packages and arrangements for families and groups.

The Family
Extremely popular with both guests and locals is our traditional “Gailtal” cuisine. Your chefs are mother and daughter of the house, who thrive preparing delicious “Gailtal” specialties as well as Carinthian ones. We pride ourselves to use only high quality, locally grown, nurtured and produced food. Come and indulge over our mouthwatering home-made desserts, vegetables from our granny´s garden, smoked bacon and other tidbits. We are looking forward welcoming you at our guest house and will make your stay as pleasurable as possible.
