The House
Our country hotel “Waidegger Wirt” is a family-run establishment for many generations and has been welcoming guests warmly from all over the world. The long tradition and the understanding of our guest´s needs are our trademark. No matter if summer or winter, a wide range of possibilities for activities lie ahead of you – skiing on top of nearby “Nassfeld”, enjoying a rustic farmer´s breakfast, going golfing, fishing, swimming or relaxing and doing nothing; the choice is yours!

The Rooms
Our uniquely and lovely decorated rooms are equipped with shower / bathroom, telephone, TV and partly balcony, and we can lodge up to 70 people. Families with kids are certainly very welcome and like being accommodated in our apartments.

The Bar
Call your busy vacation day a day in our bar, sip on a tasty cocktail, an excellent glass of wine or another scrumptious drink while listening to live music or dancing the night away.

Summer
True fully, Carinthia is called “the region of lakes”! Two lakes – “Presseggersee” and “Weißensee” – are situated in immediate vicinity. While the first one offers fun and relaxation for youngsters and not too young ones with its amusement park and huge tanning area, the other one attracts tourists throughout the year for swimming, surfing, fishing, ice-skating and ice-walking.
Refresh yourself in our pool and relax afterwards on the lawn in a deck chair .We also facilitate a paddling pool for the little ones.

The Family
Extremely popular with both guests and locals is our traditional “Gailtal” cuisine. Your chefs are mother and daughter of the house, who thrive preparing delicious “Gailtal” specialties as well as Carinthian ones. We pride ourselves to use only high quality, locally grown, nurtured and produced food. Come and indulge over our mouthwatering home-made desserts, vegetables from our granny´s garden, smoked bacon and other tidbits. We are looking forward welcoming you at our guest house and will make your stay as pleasurable as possible.
