Das Schneesportgebiet am Dachberg reicht von 1250 bis auf knapp 3000 Meter hinauf und begeistert auf jeder Höhenlage mit einer wunderschönen Naturkulisse. Es gehört zu den höchst gelegenen Skigebieten Graubündens. Die im Jahr 2004 erstellte 8-ter Gondelbahn bringt gross und klein zur Gadastatt auf 1817 Meter. Vals is a unique ski resort. With its slopes up to an altitude of 3000 m it ranks among the highest resorts of the region. Vals is located far away from the hustle and bustle and mass tourism. The ski resort is situated on the sunny eastern side of the Dachberg. The range of slopes offers something for everybody, from beginners to experts. Snowboarders will especially enjoy the archaic mountainous countryside which invites free riders. Connoisseurs combine their skiing experience with a visit to the "rock spa" of Vals.
