A warm welcome to our cozy Waldhäusl cabin in the Untertal valley near Rohrmoos/Schladming.

Surrounded by forests, mountains, and the stunning scenery of the Schladminger Tauern, our self-catering cabin is the ideal retreat for families, friends, and couples wishing to spend their summer holiday immersed in nature.

You can set off on wonderful hikes and excursions right from the cabin's doorstep. The famous "Wilde Wasser" (Wild Waters) adventure area, featuring impressive waterfalls and natural spectacles, is close by, inviting you to explore the unique landscape of the Untertal valley.

The restaurant Waldhäuslalm is also just a stone's throw away. It’s the perfect spot to stop for a bite to eat and trat yourself with regional specialties. Our cabin is located approximately 8 km from Rohrmoos and 12 km from Schladming.

The Waldhäusl cabin accommodates up to six people and features a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, three bedrooms, an entrance hall and a bathroom with a shower and sink. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with amenities including an oven and a dishwasher. A traditional tiled stove ensures cozy warmth and an authentic cabin atmosphere, even on cooler summer evenings.

The covered terrace in front of the cabin is a particular highlight. Here, you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast, relax after a hike, or wind down the day with a barbecue. A freestanding grill is available for guests to use. Enjoy summer evenings, fresh mountain air, and the special peace found far away from the hustle of everyday life.

If you are looking to truly unplug and unwind, this is the perfect place for you, with no Wi-Fi, no TV, and limited mobile reception, your stay becomes a genuine escape, creating time for shared experiences, nature, and relaxation. As a guest, you also benefit from the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card, giving you access to a wide range of leisure activities and excursion destinations in the region during your stay.
