The winter hiking trail starts at the tourist office in Kleinarl. At the Olympia Restaurant, branch off onto Stuhlweg and follow it uphill to Berggasthof Pröll. From here you continue cross-country to the mountain station of the Champion Shuttle. Now follow the winter hiking trail (Stuhlwaldstraße) until it leads back down into the valley. In the village you follow the cross-country ski trail (which is also the winter hiking trail) back to the starting point.
