Starting from the Ossmann lower and upper alm with a crossing of the Saalkogel and the Oberreitjoch to the summit. The descent over the Saaljoch and the Saalalm leads back to the starting point.

Either by the valley end train or on foot to Lindlingalm,
From here follow the signposts first to Ossmannalm and further to Ossmannhochalm and over the Oberreiterjoch to Saalkogel.
The descent leads over Saalkogel to Saaljoch and the Mittersaalalm and Saalalm back to the starting point.

Coming from Munich via Bad Reichenhall and on to Lofer, Maishofen, and here turn off to Saalbach/Hinterglemm.
By train to Zell am See and by bus to Saalbach/Hinterglemm.
Free parking approx. 200 m after the Lengauerhof hotel.
At Ossmannalm there is an ibex enclosure with an associated wildlife trail.
