Family hike: Wagrainis Grafenberg (712/713)/Summer 2026: Grafenberg Cable Car closed due to construction of a new lift

With the Grafenbergbahn you can easily go uphill from Wagrain. Taking strollers is no problem in the 6-seater gondola lift. Once you reach 1,700 meters above sea level, you are right at the entrance to the mountain and nature adventure world Wagrainis Grafenberg with over 30 exciting adventure stations!

In the immediate vicinity of the mountain station of the Grafenbergbahn, the nature and mountain adventure world Wagrainis Grafenberg invites you to play and explore. From Grafenberg Lake you can go by raft or over the suspension bridge to the Bee Trail and further via the Hachau slide into the low rope garden. Afterwards, you head to the swing forest. There, the giant swing awaits especially daring kids, or right on to the climbing stadium, where various routes can be climbed on the boulder wall. To finish, the "Path of Fascination" awaits, which leads back to the children’s alpine pasture via Wagrain's water play park.

Along the way, a stop at the Großunterbergalm or Hachaualm is recommended.
