Trailrun Liechtensteinklammrunde via Zederberg

The route starts at Kraftwerk Plankenau, from here you follow the road about 600 m towards the town center. Opposite Hotel Lerch, follow the path towards Alpendorf (via Zederberg) with a beautiful view of St. Johann. Then follows a 1.2 km long trail with 200 m of elevation gain. Then turn right into Alpendorf. At 4 km is the parking lot of the Alpendorf mountain lifts, from here you take the underpass under the federal road and follow the hiking trail downhill towards Liechtensteinklamm. Next are the most beautiful single trails, always keep left until the entrance to the gorge. Here you cross the Großarler Ache over the bridge towards St. Veit/Schattseite and follow the path until you come out of the forest. Pass the barrier on the right, follow the road about 500 m downhill. In the valley, take the towpath on the left and cross the Salzach over the bridge. The return path goes along the towpath/Tauern cycle path to the next bridge, where you change the river side, and then after about 200 m reach the starting point.
