PRAGELATO Lake Laux

From the Granges hamlet of Pragelato, ski jump area, follow the dirt road that goes south toward Fenestrelle, on the left bank of the Chisone stream. Near Piazza P. Mattarella, cross the stream, continuing to the left and climbing a long ascent at the foot of the forest; then leave the Albergian road towards Pradamont to start a series of ups and downs that will lead to the hamlets of Souchères Basses and Fraisse with trails and small fords, up to the Pourrières basin.

Here you follow the asphalt road (SR23) also open to motorized traffic until the junction for Lake Laux; alternatively, a path dedicated to more experienced bikers is proposed (continuing through the forest from the basin). Return with possible passage through the suggestive hamlet of Laux with a small loop before returning to the outbound dirt road.
