From Colle della Croce Nera, continue on asphalt to Colle Braida; from the square, take the dirt road to Col Bione, which immediately presents some steep climbs. Continue up and down to Colletto dei Tre...
For the descent, from Colletto take trail 504 on the right, which has fairly steep gradients and other sections that are difficult to cycle due to the uneven surface, leading to the hamlet of Mura. Pass the houses and continue along the paved mule track to Folatone.
Cross the road to Colle Braida and continue along the Sentiero dei Franchi trail, passing through the villages of Molè, Pian Pomè and Basinatto. This section has some narrow sections and exposed passages. Once you reach Basinatto, take the carriage road and return to Colle della Croce Nera, thus completing the loop.
The route is classified BC/OC.
Presence of pedestrians, who have the right of way, and respect towards the inhabitants of the hamlets crossed is recommended, limiting speed and disturbance.
By car it is possible to reach Colle Bione and from there continue to the locality Tre Roc.

The area around the Sacra di San Michele is suitable for loop routes starting from Vaie on trail 562 reaching the hamlet of Folatone and from there continuing towards Colle del Termine or Colle Bione and descending on trail 505 to Sant'Antonino and on the Francigena Cycle Route to reach the valley floor starting points.
