On the summit of the magical Musiné

Walk along a well-beaten path, starting from Caselette, with convenient parking near a bistro. The large summit cross of Musinè, just 15 km as the crow flies from the center of Torino, is located at 1150 meters elevation. Due to its isolated position and its geological and morphological peculiarities, this mountain has inspired many legends linked to the world of esotericism and the paranormal. Its slopes have certainly been inhabited for millennia, and signs of ancient religious cults can be found, but there are also more recent stories involving alien landings, mysterious presences of witches, will-o'-the-wisps, and apparitions of all kinds. The various trails leading to the summit are also very popular with trail running enthusiasts for their training. The itinerary proposed here is the classic loop, with an ascent from the sports field of Caselette, passing by the Sanctuary of Sant'Abaco, and returning after the summit passing by the Truc dell'eremita.
