The branch of the Ciclovia Francigena starts from the Lago Piccolo parking area, where a kiosk with a beach and equipped area offer the ideal opportunity for a stop.
The route runs along the lake, immersed in the natural reserve of the Avigliana Lakes Park, a favored spot for birdwatching.
After leaving the lake shores, the itinerary leads towards the historic center: a short cobbled climb takes you to the evocative Piazza Conte Rosso, with the Arduin Castle, the Church of San Giovanni, and the ancient medieval courtyards that tell the history of the city.
The descent along the cobbled street brings you back to the urban stretch leading to the railway station and commercial area, from where it is possible to join the main axis of the Ciclovia Francigena.
In the urban stretch shared with vehicle traffic, it is possible to turn towards the historic center from the junction between Corso Laghi and Via Garibaldi. The cobbled street leads near the Church of San Giovanni and to the left opens the medieval Piazza Conte Rosso.

By bike from Avigliana Railway Station or from the Conad commercial area, follow Corso Laghi until you reach the parking lot at borgata Sada of Avigliana near Lago Piccolo.
By car from the A32 Avigliana center exit, continue along the Lakes ring road, turn onto SP186 towards Trana, and reach the parking lot at borgata Sada near Lago Piccolo.
