The start is at the valley station of the BergJet gondola. Here you cross the ski slope next to the children's area. (Watch out for skiers) Take the wide walking path there that leads under the summer toboggan run FLOOMZER. At the first fork in the forest, turn right. Continue following the path, again under the FLOOMZER, and then cross the ski slope. After about 500 m, take the left path towards Chrüz. Before the mountain restaurant, there is a short steep ascent. When you reach the mountain restaurant, cross the ski slope again. Behind the valley station of the Stelli chairlift, there is a short, steep ascent through the light forest, before the path leads gently downhill with a great view to Prodalp. Cross the ski and toboggan run at the Bergstation of the Prodalp Express gondola before hiking through a forested area. The path leads you through a forest where you cross the ski slope and toboggan run once again. Then you reach the Madlis plateau, which is shared by cross-country skiers, winter hikers, and mushers with their huskies. Then you hike towards the children's ski lift and follow the path up on the left to the rest area hut "Heidi&Peter". Pass this on the right and return to the starting point.
Normal winter hiking equipment, sturdy shoes.
Be careful when crossing the ski slope
Highway exit Flums/Flumserberg, follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenboden.
Arrival by train to Unterterzen and then up with the Unterterzen - Tannenboden aerial cableway
Daily from Zurich with the S25 to Ziegelbrücke with a transfer to the S4 to Unterterzen
Daily from St. Gallen directly with the S4 to Unterterzen
Daily from Zurich and Chur with the RE to Walenstadt with a transfer to bus 444 to Unterterzen
From Unterterzen the 8-person gondola takes you directly to Flumserberg to the valley station Tannenboden LUFAG.
Arrival by train to Flums and Postbus to Flumserberg Tannenboden
Daily to Flums or Sargans, then with bus 441 towards Flumserberg to the stop Tannenboden, gondola.
Public parking is available at Tannenboden.
The parking lots are subject to a fee from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM you can park for free.
From 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM there is a night parking ban. There are plenty of night parking spaces in the Tannenboden parking garage or in Tannenheim.
The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.

Along the route there are several mountain restaurants. Why not make a 3 or 4-course meal out of it and have one course at each restaurant, then continue hiking strengthened.
