The start of the winter walk is the Tannenheim Post bus stop. Below the bus stop, follow the Schwendiwiesenstrasse to the right past the valley station of the Prodalp-Express. The path leads past small chalets and farms until shortly afterwards you have to cross a bridge. With a view of the Sarganserland and its mountains, the path gently rises towards Angettlin.
You start below the Tannenheim Post bus stop and walk along the flat Schwendiwiesenstrasse towards the Angettlin holiday home settlement. After the bridge, turn right and go up three curves, passing many small chalets.
Normal winter hiking equipment, sturdy shoes.

Take the Flums/Flumserberg motorway exit, follow the main road towards Flumserberg Tannenheim.
By train to Flums or Sargans, continue by bus 441 towards Flumserberg to the Tannenheim stop.
Public parking is available opposite the Poschti-Lädäli in Tannenheim.
The parking spaces are chargeable from 07:00 to 17:00. From 17:00 to 02:00, you can park your car for free.
There is a night parking ban from 02:00 to 07:00. There are enough night parking spaces in the Tannenboden parking garage or in Tannenheim.
The night parking lot can be used for a fee, but camping is prohibited.
