La Capelette de Saint-Ferréol

> Easier option: at the bottom of the Arfons road (D 12), turn left towards the campsite then the Taurou gorges. The tarmac path becomes a track suitable for vehicles and joins the main route at point 3.

1. From Place Jean-Bugis, in front of the town hall, reach the centre of the village via Rue de Rome. Go up Avenue du Maquis then the Arfons road. Opposite a garage, turn left onto a stony path. Cross the D12. 80 m later, cross a ditch on the left (wooden pontoon). Go up a path (! > private property: be respectful!). 2. Cross the D 12 for a wide path towards “Saint-Stapin viewpoint”. 70 m before the statue, climb right towards the ridge. After the Saint-Chipoli site, go along a fence then go down into the woods. >At the bottom of the valley, junction with the Gorges du Taurou variant. 3. Go up the wide path. 4. On the road to En Albouy, continue straight. In the wide bend, turn left between two pastures. Take the track to the left to reach the Saint-Ferréol chapel. 5. Leave the chapel on the left and less than 100 m down a path then a path on the hillside. Cross fences. At a small pass, turn left then right. Leaving the paths on the left, reach a plateau and take a path on the right in the woods. Go down to the road at the entrance to Massaguel. At point 6: On the right, a marked 1 km circuit allows you to discover the village of Massaguel (! > 12th century castle, the church and its fresco by Dom Robert, banks of the Sant!). 6. To return to Dourgne, follow the road southwest for 400 m; after a bend, turn into the path on the right. At the entrance to a meadow, turn left into the woods onto a sunken path leading to a stone track.> Access to the Sainte-Scholastique abbey. 7. Follow the surrounding wall of the Sainte-Scholastique abbey to the left. Take the road on the right towards the village, cross the bridge over the Taurou. Rue des Couteliers climbs straight up to the village. Return to the start via Avenue du Maquis.
