Waldenstein is a Kneipp community.

The most important Kneipp facilities with a graduation facility (brine inhalation facility), a water treading pool, an arm bath in the granite trough, a barefoot course and a swimming pond are in Waldenstein at the sports and cultural center.

The Kneipp circular trail can be tackled from any village in the municipality and is marked in both directions.

The silence can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace and absorbed with every breath. "Thank God benches" along the way invite you to linger.

The well-known pilgrimage church "Maria mit der Hacke" is located in Waldenstein. The history of the pilgrimage church and the statue of the Virgin Mary can be traced in the pilgrimage and community museum.

In Waldenstein you can play tennis (outdoor courts, indoor courts) and squash, cycle, hike, swim in natural ponds, let off steam on the beach volleyball court and have fun with the children in the natural playgrounds.
