Madeira/Portugal - PR8

Full trek of Madeira island's PR8 levada, from start to end and back. This levada is all on the rocky shore of Madeira's easternmost point, so you will be under the sun most of the time, luckily there is always wind to help in keeping you cool. Path is very easy, there are very few and short changes in altitude, stairs are preset where possible and there are a lot of safety ropes to avoid falling. Only place with a relatively long uphill is the last ascension, behind the bar, the path there is damaged and there are no more stairs. At the end of the path there is a bar to eat/drink/go to toilet; it's also possible to do sea activities there, kayak, snorkeling and other trips. Also, there are a few spots where is possible to go down to the ocean to have a swim. Keep in mind that PR8 needs to be booked in advance.
