Winter walk to Fischertratten (extendable)

Start: Gmünd town hall - towards Oberes Stadtor - turn left into the alley towards Maltator - continue straight until the Malta state road, cross at the zebra crossing and keeping right along the Malta state road past the Riesertratte settlement to the bike and recreational path - staying on this path you walk for about 40 minutes to the village of Fischertratten - return by the same route.

Here you have the option to extend the round by turning left over the bridge towards Dornbach in Fischertratten. The path ascends briefly to the transformer in the village of Dornbach - turn left here and continue straight on the road through Brochendorf - Saps where the road, after crossing a small bridge over the Malta river, connects again to the bike path. You are now back in the village of Karnerau and return to the town of Gmünd.
