Heimatmuseum Holzgau

The Holzgau Heritage Museum offers an authentic insight into the lives of past generations in the Lechtal valley. Housed in a historic 18th-century farmhouse, it tells the story of simple living, rural everyday life, and the rich cultural traditions of the region.

The Holzgau Heritage Museum can be visited as part of a guided tour during the summer months from July to early September as part of the village and cultural walk. The meeting point is Holzgau village square. With the Lechtal Activ Card, participation is free of charge and no registration is required.
The museum is housed in a historic 18th-century farmhouse with characteristic architecture and richly decorated façade paintings. Inside, original rooms and details provide an authentic insight into past living conditions.
