In the village you will find a Protestant church with weekly church services, a tourist information center, a primary school, kindergarten, crèche and after-school care center. A craft show brewery, cozy restaurants as well as guest houses, holiday apartments and a holiday settlement complete the family-friendly place.

Active leisure activities are offered by museums, well-marked hiking, cycling and riding trails, sports facilities, playgrounds and adventure trails. There are indoor and outdoor pools in the neighboring towns.
