Blaufränkischland Marathon - 1/8 Marathon (5.7 km)

You definitely won’t get bored at this race! Families with children, runners of all ages, sports enthusiasts, and even those who aren’t as athletic will all find something to enjoy here. Since the race doesn’t start until 12:00 p.m., you’ll have plenty of time before the starting gun to soak up the lively commentary and the participants’ euphoric atmosphere—or join your kids in the fun-filled children’s program.

You’ll start the run in high spirits and explore the wineries along the route as you make your way through the town and the surrounding vineyards. Not only will you enjoy great wines and culinary delights, but you’ll also be impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the winemakers. The route runs entirely on paved paths and can easily be navigated with a stroller. And after crossing the finish line, the fun continues with activities and an “After-Run Party” at the start/finish area.
