A very beautiful course, magnificent panoramas and pretty villages.
As soon as you leave Mornant, the road straighten with beautiful slopes (550 to 600 m drop over about fifteen kilometres).
The profile at the end of the route is first flat or descending for 12 km to Thurins, then offers an alternation of small bumps to reach Mornant.
Tourism side
The route has many tourist attractions in addition to panoramas facing the Alps and the Mornantais plateau.
The climate is conducive to fruit growing and viticulture, as evidenced by the presence of the orchards and vineyards of the Coteaux du Lyonnais.
Also on the heritage level, the old towns and the remains of the Roman aqueduct of the Gier constitute one of the other singularities of this territory.
