Both apartments can be rented together, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generational holidays.

Location
The house is located very peacefully just outside the village, on the lane leading to the picturesque Ardez-Sur-En, inhabited only in summer and the main filming location of the "Schellenursli" film. From the living room/terrace you have a wonderful view of the Lower Engadine Dolomites and the region's distinctive forests. Shops, a bakery, and the post office are located in the village centre (approx. 800 m away). Salsiz, Landjäger, or Natura Beef meat can be bought directly from the nearby Campell organic farm, and there is also the option to shop at the farm's own shop. Ardez train station is 650 m away, about a 10-minute walk.

Modern comfort in a historic building! The charmingly furnished 1-room apartment in the former mill of the Engadine mountain village of Ardez is truly one of a kind. About a 10-minute walk from the village centre of Ardez, the house stands alone in complete tranquillity. Enjoy the best time of the year – your holiday in Ardez, a typical Engadine village, surrounded by houses decorated with sgraffito, the Swiss National Park, and a range of skiing, family, and hiking opportunities that is second to none. The same building also contains a 4.5-room and a 1.5-room holiday apartment. All three apartments can also be rented together, an ideal option for larger families and multi-generational holidays. The owner lives in the 4th apartment.

The roughly 25 m² studio is on the ground floor of the former Ardez mill and was renovated in a simple, modern style in 2021. The apartment is suitable for 1–2 people. Right outside the front door, a fountain bubbles with fresh Engadine water. Shops and the post office are located in the village centre (approx. 800 m away). Salsiz, Landjäger, or Natura Beef meat can be bought directly from the nearby Campell organic farm.

Ardez train station is 650 m away, about a 10-minute walk. The Motta Naluns ski area can be reached via Ftan by car in 5 minutes, or via Scuol by train in 10 minutes. Ardez has a floodlit cross-country track, reachable on foot in about 15 minutes. The neighbouring village of Ftan also has the 8.5 km Dario Cologna cross-country track. The access road is regularly cleared in winter, though depending on snowfall and road conditions, snow chains or 4×4 drive are recommended. A pick-up service from the train station can be arranged.

In summer, the entire Lower Engadine offers wonderful hiking, whether short or long walks. A popular route leads from Ardez across a suspension bridge to Tarasp and on to Scuol, or to Murtera d'Ardez, another filming location from "Schellenursli". The Swiss National Park is also nearby.
