Our Simonbauer house, formerly a farmhouse, is situated on a sunny hill in the quiet district of Unterbichl, about a 20-minute walk from the centre.
You can access the original balcony of our approximately 400-year-old farmhouse from both flats via the stairwell and simply enjoy the beautiful view.
For a cosy stop nearby, we recommend the STOANER ALM or BERGHOTEL BIRKENHOF.
This location is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes, in particular the Alpin Chiemseeblick premium hiking trail, Hutzenalm and Taubensee, the summit of the Wetterkreuz, or mountain bike tours. Europe’s first cross-border 18-hole golf course is located in the immediate vicinity.
In winter, you will find the winter hiking trail and the local bus stop right by the house.
We offer two lovingly furnished apartments and parking at the house.
During the summer months, we are happy to provide seating outside the house, sun loungers, and a barbecue area.
It is possible to book an additional double room on the ground floor, equipped with a shower and toilet, as a second bedroom to complement the Bergblick or Dorfblick holiday apartment.

The apartments in our two family-run guesthouses are allergy-friendly, which is why we do not accept pets. We ask for your understanding.

We are happy to provide towels and bed linen, as well as a bread roll service, at both properties. Final cleaning is included in the price. You will receive the Inclusive Guest Card, which gives you toll-free access to the Winklmoosalm in summer, as well as use of the hiking bus and the Park Card for both summer and winter.

The prices for each apartment include bed linen, towels, final cleaning, guest Wi-Fi access and a bread roll service.
These prices apply per accommodation unit and night for 1–2 people, plus visitor’s tax.

The local authority levies a visitor’s tax, which we pay in full and add to the respective price. This is charged per day.
For stays of less than 5 nights, we charge a one-off short-stay surcharge of €30.
Tourist tax per day:
from 16 December to 31 March: €2.70 per adult and €1.20 per child*.
from 1 April to 31 May: €1.40 per adult and €0.90 per child*.
from 1 June to 15 October: €2.50 per adult and €1.00 per child*.
From 16 October to 15 December: EUR 1.40 per adult and EUR 0.90 per child*.
