Snow and fun for all the family is the motto at the Mariazeller Bürgeralpe. Guests can choose from 10 slopes over a total of 14 km catering to all levels of skiing expertise. From pros to beginners, our slopes, which have been tested and awarded the Styrian seal of approval, are perfect for everyone.

One Cablecar, two four-seater chairlifts, a drag lift and a plate lift guarantee an easy ascent. The spacious, open ski resort means that the Mariazeller Bürgeralpe is perfect for families. Whether you’re negotiating your first turn or a speedy carving curve, the easy to challenging routes are perfect for each family member.

As a partner ski resort of the promotion "ski4school", the Buergeralpe offers discounts and free ski days specifically for students. As a new offers for hikers and ski mountaineers, the Mariazeller Buergeralpe creates the winter hiking trail "Dreiseenblick" and a lighted ski touring track.
The modern snow machines also guarantee snowy conditions from December to March.

A freely accessible WISBI route (How Fast Am I) and the fun slopes for snowboarders round off the resorts diverse range of activities. And, for all those who fancy a bit of a change, we can recommend a ride on the new, 2.500 m long illuminated toboggan run, which ends right by the cable car valley station in Mariazell. Up on the cable car, and down on the toboggan – a fun experience for young and old.

The sporting pleasures are followed by the après ski programme in the mountain guesthouse with its new panoramic winter garden, or alternatively in the Edelweiß Hut or the Sebastiani Woodcutter’s Hut.
