Chalet Murtalhütte

'Greetings' on the Murtalhüttn”. Experience and feel your holiday differently than usual - calm, relaxing, restorative and balancing. Our Murtalhütte is located between mountains up to 3000 meters high, away from the municipality of Muhr im Lungau in the Salzburger Land. Our vacationers really appreciate not being able to vacation in a "hut village". We are located on the edge of the largest nature reserve in the Alps - the HOHE TAUERN National Park in the Lungau-Nockberge Biosphere Park. Surrounded by the " Niederen and Radstädter Tauern" , the Murtalhütte is located at 1,120m above sea level (easily accessible by car in winter) in a unique and distinctive mountain landscape. You can expect fantastic alpine pastures, mountains with glaciers, crystal-clear mountain water, 60 deep blue mountain lakes, breathtaking waterfalls, combined with an animal and plant world that you will not find in this diversity anywhere else.
