The altitude of Ischgl and Galtür is the first thing that makes cross-country skiing here a very special enjoyment. From 1,377m up to over 2,000m altitude you will find perfect tracks of all difficulty levels for amateur and professional athletes alike, promising an uncompromising skiing experience.

Because of snow-assurance, the tracks are guaranteed to be useable from early December until late spring, and therefore provide optimal training conditions for everyone. 80 km total track length, beginners will find the best possible environment to enter this exceedingly popular endurance sport, while intermediates can enjoy elaborate tours in front of an amazing backdrop.

Great news for all cross-country skiing enthusiasts, who just can’t get enough: On the approx. 2,2 km illuminated night trail from Galtür to Wirl, you can make your tracks until 10 pm and on the Ischgl trail until 9:30 pm. The evening atmosphere gives the high mountain landscape a very special glow and you can enjoy the silence of the winter night with a clear starry night and perfect snow conditions.
