Come in! Your host family Traxl attaches great importance to ensuring that you have a pleasant stay at the Maiensee. Walter Traxl opened the hotel in December 1971, initially as a bed and breakfast. The father of today's junior manager Stephan Traxl had built the house back then. His mother came as a guest and stayed with her ski instructor and the Arlberg forever. Today, Stephan Traxl runs the traditional business together with his sister Andrea Traxl and their parents.

Our exclusive rooms and suites are cosy oases offering modern comfort and fantastic views of the Alpine mountain world. The modern and high-quality wooden furnishings create a cosy ambience for single travellers, couples, and families.
