A day full of magic and a nature experience that appeals to all the senses
At Hexenwasser Söll, there is a guided programme featuring over 60 stations designed for independent exploration. Watercourses invite visitors to splash about, the ‘Blaues Wunder’ water workshop offers a playful insight into the world of water, and in the apiary, visitors can experience the buzzing of nature. The Simonalm offers insights into alpine life and traditional working methods; the Witches’ Headquarters focuses on herbal knowledge; and the Witches’ Kitchen explores natural remedies. Barefoot trails round off the experience. Hexenwasser Söll is regarded as a versatile destination for the whole family.
Many of the stations are supervised and are brought to life by the witches and their helpers with knowledge and humour. The paths are family-friendly and largely suitable for pushchairs, although some sections are slightly steeper.
The adventure begins with the ride in the talking gondola. Once at the top, the barefoot trail leads into an environment that can be experienced with all the senses. The focus is on the forces of nature, herbal knowledge and simple home remedies. Along the paths, there are frequent small stations and details to discover. Long slides, a treehouse with a view, the ‘Blue Wonder’ station, the witches’ umbrellas with sound stations and the broomstick flight engaging all the senses offer a wealth of experiences.
In the creative workshop, creations are made from natural materials. At the fire pit, stories are told and knowledge about herbs is shared. Several huts along the route offer refreshments and views of the Hohe Salve, which is easily accessible by gondola.
