The start of this snowshoe tour is at the mountain station of the Kristbergbahn. Passing the Panoramagasthof Kristberg, the first section of your route leads uphill towards Ganzaleita. At the summit or the highest point of the route, you have a wonderful view into the Klostertal and the Rote Wand. Take the opportunity to enjoy the complete silence of nature. You get a wonderful view of the Rätikon. From afar, the mighty and well-known mountains such as the Sulzfluh, Drusenfluh, 3 Türme, and the lovingly called Montafoner Matterhorn, the Zimba, can be seen. Enjoy this view of the Rätikon and the unique mountain world. The way back to the mountain station Kristbergbahn goes via the Waldschule. Here, you pass the Panoramagasthof Kristberg again.
The beautiful and scenic snowshoe hike starts at the mountain station of the Kristbergbahn. First, you follow the winter hiking trail gently downhill. It passes by the Panoramagasthof Kristberg. In the Kappu area, you then turn right and follow the snowshoe trail or the wooden poles with pink markings (or pink signposts) slightly uphill to the Ganzaleita junction. Turn right and continue slightly uphill to reach the Ganzaleita viewpoint. From there, you continue slightly downhill to the Silbertaler Waldschule. There, you turn right and follow the markings through the forest, shortly after which you reach the St. Agatha Bergknappenkapelle or the Panoramagasthof Kristberg. A few meters slightly uphill brings you back to the starting point.
