Walk "Kreuzweg"

The walk begins at Rauterplatz in the centre of Matrei i. O. and leads along the Tauernbach stream to the "Boch Kirchle". This chapel with a magnificent baroque altar is dedicated to St Florian.
After the small church, the actual Stations of the Cross begin. At the end of the stations is the Klaunz Chapel, which is idyllically situated above the parish church. The area around this chapel is the oldest settlement area in the rear Iseltal valley.
Afterwards, follow the wide path in an easterly direction and you will soon reach the tarmac municipal road. Passing the Hotel Goldried, you return to the starting point under the Felbertauernstraße bridge.
