From Vent you take the Wildspitze double chairlift to Stableinalm (2,354 m). From there, you follow a wide path for about 30 minutes towards Breslauer Hütte 2,844 m, then turn right and after about half an hour you reach the junction to Wildes Mannle. The ascent to the summit goes over steep and rocky terrain (secured with cables). From there, you have a magnificent view of the Wildspitze directly opposite and the Venter mountains as well as the Ortler group. The descent leads over the summit to a small notch and down a secured path to the tongue of the Rofenkarferner glacier. From there, you can either descend to the Breslauer Hütte or to Stableinalm. The walking time from Stableinalm to Wildes Mannle is approximately 2.5 hours and from Wildes Mannle to Breslauer Hütte about 1.5 hours. From Breslauer Hütte back to Stableinalm takes about 1 hour.

Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain, and sun protection, hat, possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map as well as enough provisions on hikes with no opportunity to refresh is necessary.

Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can easily and quickly continue with public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination!
