Transalp - Section Hall - Brenner

In the Inn Valley, you follow the Inn Valley Cycle Path to Hall. The once powerful trading city Hall i. T. has developed over the years into a tourist gem. Today, Hall is a vibrant small town where you can experience varied, stylish hospitality amidst historic walls. The medieval old town alone is worth a visit.

So you should definitely plan a stop here or even make it the stage destination to recharge for the climb to the main Alpine ridge.

From Hall, you head up to Tulfes and over the picturesque villages of Rinn, Sistrans, Lans, high above the Inn Valley.

The view here over the Inn Valley and the opposite Karwendel mountain range makes the effort worthwhile. You continue on the old Roman road through Patsch into the Wipptal valley and on to Steinach am Brenner.

The Alpine Transalp route continues from here over the Brenner Pass.
