Circular hike - Poppenhäuser Panorama route - Heldburger Land

The circular hiking route through gentle rolling hills around Poppenhausen starts in the village and leads towards the „Place of Gratitude“. From there, it goes to the tri-border area of the districts Hildburghausen, Hassberge, and Coburg and further to the lookout point Gleichbergblick. Afterwards, you hike the Kuhsee with Taubenstein, where you can explore an interesting legend. Over the Poppenhäuser Kuhtrift, the route continues to the Krackenhügel and returns to the starting point via the Kolonnenweg through the wetland area „Krautwiesen“.
