BIG ORLA CYCLING DAY

On July 6th from 10:00 to 17:00 it’s finally time. Between the source of the Orla and Pößneck there is a colorful range of offerings that will make not only cyclists’ hearts beat faster. It doesn’t matter whether you start in Triptis, Neustadt (Orla), or Pößneck, and the events are diverse and spread over the entire period. So there is certainly something for everyone – big or small.

Sporting activities such as fitness in the park, cycling courses, skill games on the bike, (Orla) water treading, and exuberant bouncy castle jumping are complemented by healthy drinks and snacks, a wellness café, or the classic sausage roast. Those who want to experience culture alongside cycling are invited to a sporty city tour, various live music, or a visit to open churches and monuments along the way. Additionally, there are information points with useful tips on cycling and hiking offers, e-bikes, and the e-bike charging network. Each town also provides information about the State Garden Show 2028. And for the really diligent collectors, there are stamp stations along the route. Everyone who wants to end the day in a cozy atmosphere is invited by the town of Triptis from 5 PM to a joint cycling finale.
