Joutsijärvi is one of the largest lakes in Satakunta and belongs to the Harjunpää River drainage area of the Kokemäki River watershed. The nature and wildlife of Joutsijärvi, with rare birds and vegetation, guarantee a memorable nature experience. The lake and its shore waters are home to species such as the osprey, honey buzzard, sparrowhawk, and hobby falcon. Along the nature trail, there are information points about the surrounding nature. There is also a shelter at the end of the route.
The route starts from the Tammen parking lot. At the beginning of the route, there is an information point where you can find the map of the Joutsijärvi hiking route and nature trail. The nature trail begins after crossing the Joutsijoki River. There is no official direction for the route, but we recommend walking it counterclockwise. Right at the beginning of the route, there is a boardwalk section that leads to the Tammentila dam and bridge area. The nature trail runs near Joutsijärvi for a while, but after about 2 km, Vasoniementie is crossed. After this, the route takes you along the shores of Ruonajärvi. At the end of the nature trail, there is the Siltasuo shelter. The route eventually returns you back to the parking lot.

There is no public transport to the route, but you can check the nearest bus lines at Schedules and routes - Porin Joukkoliikenne
There is plenty of space for cars at the Tammen camping center parking lot!
Motorboats are prohibited on Joutsijärvi, which enables a peaceful atmosphere for enjoying nature.
