Vorderkaser - Welcome to the Stone Age
The highlight in the Vorderkaser natural bathing area is the Stone Age adventure route. 6 different play stations along the approximately 2 km long hiking route (with 60 meters of elevation) invite you to linger and play. The play stations are complemented by panels that also provide information about the history and way of life of the Stone Age.

Station 5: Balancing beam
Station 6: Play tower with slide, climbing wall, swings
There is a place to eat at the Vorderkaser snack station - afterwards a route on the walkways through the Vorderkaserklamm is worthwhile.
Return is the same way.
The route is part of the “Hiking with Kids” in the Salzburger Saalachtal. Duration and difficulty level are designed for children/families.
From the parking lot near the federal highway via the Stone Age adventure route (with 6 stations and past the Vorderkaser natural bathing area) to the entrance of the Vorderkaserklamm (same route back).

In addition to a water bottle, we recommend sturdy footwear, warm clothing and rain protection, mobile phone, sunglasses and sun protection (e.g. cap) as well as a small snack.
Along the B311, the exit to the Vorderkaserklamm is located between St. Martin and Weißbach (well signposted). Shortly after the exit is the parking lot and the start of the adventure route.
By bus line 260 (Zell am See - Salzburg) to the stop St. Martin b. L. - Vorderkaserklamm
