The expansive alpine meadows around the Spielbergalmen give this tour its distinctive character and make it a truly scenic experience. The Spielberghorn perfectly combines enjoyable hiking with a rewarding summit experience – a thoroughly worthwhile mountain tour for anyone who appreciates stunning panoramic views.
From the parking lot at the Unterberghaus (Knappenstube), follow the ascending forest road to the right. At the Adamalm, turn right toward the Scheltaualm and then climb up to reach the ridge. Once at the top, keep left and follow the ridge along the final few meters to the summit of the Spielberghorn.
From Saalfelden or St. Johann in Tirol via the B 164 to Leogang. West of Leogang, turn off in the Hütten district into the Schwarzleo Valley. From there, follow the signs to the show mine until you reach the parking lot after approximately 3 km.
You can enjoy your holiday from the very beginning by train. No traffic jam will stop you from coming to Saalfelden Leogang! Furthermore, the ÖBB timetable helps you quickly and easily find the ideal train connection to Leogang station: www.oebb.at
