Gr. Gurpitscheck

Gr. Gurpitscheck from trailhead Obertauern - Schaidberg, passing Twenger Alm and Twenger Almsee continuing on to the ridge line and along it to the summit. Consider about 3 hours for the ascend and approximately the same time for the descend if you want to stop some and take some amazing images of the gorgeous countryside along the way. It's possible to hike with children as long as they are in somewhat good shape and have a safe step as some areas are a bit exposed. There are a couple of rope sections towards the top, which help to climb a couple of smaller boulders, nothing too crazy though. Our kids were 9 and 12 at the time and truly enjoyed the hike and the scenery.
