From the valley station of the Asitzbahn, the route initially goes gently uphill to Hochfilzen. Here begins the actual loop around the Buchensteinwand, which is a very varied route due to its short ascents and descents. Wilder Kaiser, Loferer and Leoganger Steinberge, and the Kitzbüheler Horn are part of the panorama of this perfect beginner route. Once back in Hochfilzen, the route leads back towards Leogang.

Coming from Saalfelden: After entering the town of Leogang, follow the road for about 4 km - then turn left to the valley station of Leoganger Bergbahnen.
Coming from Tirol: After leaving the town of Hochfilzen, follow the road for about 9 km and then turn right to the valley station of Leoganger Bergbahnen.
