Opis

Starting from P.za Mezzadra, climb to piazza del Popolo along via Roma, take Via Porro as far as the sailor monument. From there, to the right take the paved road downhill. After approximately 400 m, take the dirt road to the left downhill to reach provincial road SP 50 Casale - Altavilla. Turn right on the provincial road and after approximately 100 m take the unpaved road to the left (Regione Orti). After about 200 m, you arrive to provincial road SP 48 and turn left in the direction of Ottiglio, go along the old spa facility of Fons Salera and turn immediately left to take a small paved road uphill to Mongetto. From here, you can see the town of Frassinello on the right and a little further on you can enjoy a magnificent view of Vignale on the left: the scenery is spectacular! After 1350 m, from the provincial road SP48, having passed a large yellow farmhouse on the right, turn right onto the dirt trail and continue on it downhill for 300 m. Then take the flat trail on the left and follow the dirt road and, beyond the Rotaldo stream, resume SP 48 to the left to leave it after less than 50 m, taking a dirt trail on the right that you travel uphill for approximately 700 m to the town of Olivola.Cross the town from the Church of San Pietro to provincial road SP 42, then turn right following the paved road in the direction of Prera. From Prera, continue on the left on the paved road halfway up the slope for Ottiglio to the small fountain (900 m approximately from Prera) with a junction. Take the paved road to the right uphill to the town of Ottiglio. Having reached Ottiglio with a short deviation from the marked route you can visit the Church of San Germano (1761). Having reached provincial road SP47 (Via Mazza) turn right and continue uphill until on one bend you meet a road, paved in the first section, on the right where a sign indicates "valle dei frati". Follow the unpaved road on the right which travels along the ridge between the valley of Ottiglio and the valley dei Frati to reach Prera again. From here, continue to reach the upper limit of the quarry of Moleto and the paved municipal road in sight of the hamlet of Moleto. Having reached Moleto you can visit the Romanesque Church of S. Michele (1100).

Starting from Piazza Mezzadra, go up to Piazza del Popolo via Via Roma, take Via Porro up to the monument to the sailors. From there take the asphalt road downhill to the right. After about 400 m, take the dirt road on the left downhill until you reach the SP 50 Casale - Altavilla. Turn right onto the provincial road and after about 100 m take the unpaved road on the left (Orti Region). After about 200 m you arrive at the SP48 and turn left towards Ottiglio, pass the old Fons Salera spa structure and immediately turn left onto a small uphill asphalt road that leads to the Mongetto area. From here you can see the town of Frassinello on the right and a little further on you can enjoy a magnificent view of Vignale on the left; the scenery is really beautiful! After 1350 m from the SP48, after passing a large yellow farmhouse on the right, turn right onto the dirt path and continue the path downhill for 300 m, then take the flat path on the left, follow the dirt road and after passing the Rotaldo torrent, take the SP 48 on the left to leave it after less than 50 m taking a dirt path on the right which goes uphill for about 700 m up to the village of Olivola. Cross the town from the church of San Pietro to the SP 42, then turn right following the asphalt road towards Prera. From Prera, follow the asphalt road halfway up the hill to the left up to the fountain (approximately 900 m from Prera) with a crossroads. Take the asphalt road on the right uphill to the village of Ottiglio. Once you reach Ottiglio, with a short detour from the marked route you can visit the church of San Germano (year 1761). Once you reach the SP47 (Via Mazza), turn right and follow uphill until you come across a road on a curve, asphalted in the first section, on the right where a sign indicates "Valle dei Frati". Follow the unpaved road on the right that runs along the ridge between the Ottiglio valley and the Frati valley until you reach Prera again. From here continue until you reach the upper limit of the Moleto quarry and the asphalted municipal road in view of the Moleto hamlet. Once in Moleto you can visit the Romanesque church of S. Michele (year 1100).
