From Largo Artigianato the route takes a left on Via Fontanola, runs along the structure of the Milanese Azzi plant, with its imposing chimneys and slightly uphill alongside the buildings of the former Unione Italiana Cementi factory, in whose courtyard you can still see the tracks of narrow-gauge trains that transported material from the mines to the cement factories.
Soon after, the path finds on the right the buildings that housed the Bergamo workers called during the local workforce strike and then arrives at the large structure of Pozzone Cavallera, where there was an elevator that descended into the mines more than a hundred meters deep.
Further ahead the paved road ends, the route continues for a short stretch on a gravel road and, near a barrier, turns left onto the path that enters the woods and climbs decidedly towards the Sinaccio locality, where the beautiful church of Saints Cosmas and Damian is located.
The path takes the wide gravel road to the left which shortly after offers splendid panoramic views of the Po river and the plain on the right and the hills on the left and passes near the La Moncia estate, characterized by a turret that was once the seat of an astronomical observatory.
At the next fork, the route turns left and descends toward the Rollini hamlet, offering other views of the village of Ozzano and the green hills of the Val Cerrina; after passing the hamlet, the path continues on asphalt to the nearby Dionigi Rollini nucleus, where, near the last house, it turns left, taking the path that descends toward the valley floor.
The path emerges onto the gravel road where it turns left and immediately after right, climbing the hill slope among cultivated fields and hazelnut groves; after passing Cascina Ranà the route reaches a plateau where it turns right onto the road that runs along the fence beyond which the entry to the Laurenta tunnel is now hidden by vegetation, which came out in Casale territory.
The route descends to the paved road where it turns right, reconnecting to Via Fontanola and returning shortly to Largo Artigianato, where the itinerary started.
From Casale Monferrato you reach Ozzano (Lavello locality).
You can leave the car in the railway station parking lot, near which there is an information board about the path; continuing on the sidewalk, turn right, crossing the railway line and reaching Largo Artigianato.
