Through a survey of the numerous hamlets and villages of Cesana Torinese, it is possible to rediscover the signs of history, art, traditions, and a heritage of cultures, ancient and noble crafts. You pedal among old communal ovens, chapels, and historic houses but also among flowering meadows, woods, and streams, up to the renowned ski resort of San Sicario. In some hamlets the houses have been restored, while in others the old deserted ruins still stand, examples of tradition and history linked to the territory.
This is a medium difficulty route suitable for physically fit and technically skilled people: the itinerary takes place on a mixed-surface path, sometimes very uneven, sometimes less so, with stones, roots, and significant slopes.

You pedal starting from the Cesana T.se tourist office heading towards the Church of San Giovanni Battista and then on a very short stretch of asphalt on a state road towards Mollieres. Beyond the settlement of Mollieres you continue into nature under the gaze of Monte Chaberton along a section of the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route. Arriving at Solomiac, a characteristic hamlet, abandoned but with old huts and restored houses: in the village center the old Town Hall, school, and oven are clearly recognizable. The outside façade of the historic Casa Cossul is worth a look: paintings and sundials make it a true historical-cultural gem. From Solomiac you continue uphill towards Colombieres and Autagne, two ancient hamlets where today ruins of old houses predominate. After the Church of Sant'Anna di Autagne you continue until you reach the settlement of San Sicario Alto, a renowned ski resort. Following the track, you descend again towards Mollieres and then return to Cesana along the initial route on the state road, pay attention.
Take time to visit the hamlets: the fountains, small churches, and characteristic alpine architecture of the villages are worth a visit!
