The first stretch of the route winds through the town: after taking the road on the right side of the parish church, you travel along the embankment that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills, where several villages stand: Camagna, Vignale, Lu, and Cuccaro, which characterize the landscape with towers and bell towers.
After finishing the embankment, continue downhill towards Regione Monte, turning left near a villa and descending into the small valley below towards the Borghina farmhouse; upon reaching an electric cabin, take a left, traveling along the gravel road that crosses meadows and poplar groves, climbing back to the provincial road SP 66, where you turn left again towards the village.
After about 100 meters along the provincial road, turn right towards the little church of S. Rocco, from which you take the descending dirt road that crosses a multicolored landscape of cultivated fields, small woods, and vineyards to shortly reach an artificial pond; after skirting the water body, turn left uphill and emerge onto an asphalted road near the Rosetta farmhouse, where turn left again.
Admiring the surrounding landscape, you soon reach the intersection with provincial road SP 68, where you turn right and then immediately left onto a gravel road that gently descends towards the Valle Grana.
Before arriving at the Mongaudio Farmhouse, turn left, following the country road that borders the Conzano hill; after about 600 meters take the left road that climbs towards the village, bordered by rows of robinia trees; shortly after reaching the first houses, emerge onto the main road where you turn left, arriving shortly after at the village square, at the end of the route.
Before getting back into the car, it’s worth dedicating some time to visiting Conzano; well-maintained homes frame Australia Square, dedicated to that distant country which, at the end of the 19th century, welcomed many Conzano inhabitants forced to emigrate in search of fortune; the 18th-century Villa Vidua, home to many art exhibitions; the Tower that characterizes the village’s skyline and from which one enjoys a splendid panoramic view.
Upon arriving in Conzano, park the car in the square in front of the Pharmacy.
