The Ambin tour is a 2-3 day hiking itinerary, straddling Italy and France that allows you to discover fascinating places through the Ambin Massif.A track aimed at users of high-altitude hiking and mountaineering routes where the main points of historical and cultural interest are the "Pertus di Colombano Romean" tunnel at Grange Pertus in the Municipality of Exilles and the Pramand Tunnel, of military derivation, which currently constitutes a mandatory passage at the height of the Saracen Caves, in the Municipality of Oulx.
The itinerary involves fairly long day trips with moderate elevation gains, suitable for experienced hikers, with the possibility of reaching some peaks of the Massif d'Ambin.

Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the context and season
This Tour is passable in stable weather conditions with no persistent seasonal snow above 2600 m elevation, conditions generally present from the second half of July.
By car:
from San Colombano: SS24 to Exilles, then follow SP to San Colombano
from Little Moncenisio: SS25 until Moncenisio Pass, then follow to Refuge du Petit Mont Cenis and follow on foot to Col Clapier
from Grange della Valle: SS24 to Salbertrand, then follow SP to Grange della Valle 7 Rifugio Levi-Molinari (5 min walk)
from Oulx: SS 24 or A32 exit Oulx Ovest
Oulx: Metropolitan Railway Service Line 3 , Oulx station stop
Depending on the variants, the total distance covered is between 33-45 km and the total elevation gain between 2500-2800 m.
The bivouacs along the route are not operated, so it is not possible to book overnight stays.
