On the wine route, which leads from Sargans to Mels, you can learn some enjoyable facts about wine from March to October. The route is 2.5 kilometers long, it goes right through the vineyards and over a meadow. The start is at the Spleekapelle in Sargans, the end at the vineyards of Mels-Heiligkreuz. Of course, you can also walk the route in the opposite direction.

Would you like to be accompanied on the wine route by a vintner from Mels or Sargans?
A guided tour costs 100 Swiss francs for the first 15 people. Each additional person pays seven Swiss francs.
Would you like to taste fine wines from Mels or Sargans? A tasting in a pressing house of your choice lasts about one hour.
Five wines are tasted. The cost is 180 Swiss francs for ten people, each additional person pays 15 Swiss francs.
Would you like to enjoy a carriage ride past vineyards and through the picturesque village of Mels or through the historic town of Sargans?
The carriage ride includes 1.5 hours of pure driving time and one hour stop at the pressing house. The cost is a flat rate of 260 Swiss francs per carriage (12 to 14 people).
