Start from the church hill in Petalax, out towards Mamrelund and Mamrestigen (Storsjöstigen) towards Lake Storsjön. Note: the digital map line between Mamreträsket and Storsjön may differ slightly from the physical trail. Please follow the signs!
After the forest section, the trail continues close to the Iron Age Trail, along smaller roads towards Malax church village and municipal centre.
