The trail, which climbs steeply at the start, leads you to a wayside shrine high above Weiten, where you’ll be treated to a magnificent view. You’ll pass through wooded areas, come to a historic lime kiln, and continue hiking across meadows and fields. On this hike, you’ll come across trees that, according to the Celtic tree calendar, are associated with and described by the zodiac signs. This hike is designed not only to rekindle your joy of hiking but also to offer you a new way of experiencing nature as you learn about the local tree species.

Take the A1 to the Melk exit—drive along the B3a across the Danube, then merge onto the B3 and continue to Weitenegg - From there, take the B216 and continue to Eitental - Take the L7223 to Seiterndorf, then take the L7226 to Weiten
