The market town of Gaweinstal is nestled in the beautiful hilly landscape of the Weinviertel. There is plenty of space here for rest and relaxation as well as sporting activities. Family-friendly hiking trails lead past vineyards that characterize the landscape. They are ideal for walking, hiking and Nordic walking, and there are also numerous cycle paths. Worth seeing are the revitalized baroque vicarage dating back to 1744 with its numerous cultural events, the White Cross on the church square and the imposing church. Gaweinstal also has an excellent infrastructure.
Start beim Gemeindeamt (Kirchenplatz 3) – entlang mehrerer Fischteiche – unter der Autobahn durch und links abbiegen Richtung Pellendorf – Leopold-Frank-Straße – den Neusiedlerweg entlang Richtung Sandwald – auf dem Feldweg den Wald entlang zurück nach Pellendorf – Richtung Gaweinstal gehen – über die Feldgasse und Pfarrgasse zum Gemeindeamt
Gaweinstal ist per PKW über die Nordautobahn A5 erreichbar. Der Ort liegt direkt an der Bundesstraße B7.
Parken ist beim Gemeindeamt möglich.
